Metallic paint includes pure silver powder paint, pure pearl paint, base paint with a certain amount of pearls in

silver powder paint, and solid color primer.

(1) The chroma of silver powder paint is not as high as that of pearl paint (the so-called chroma refers to the

saturation, turbidity and chroma of the color). Silver powder paint is made up of numerous opaque grey

aluminium flakes. When sunlight hits the paint, only a single shade of gray is reflected. And pearl paint contains

many different thickness, translucent mica flakes. Due to the translucency of the mica sheet itself, when sunlight

hits it, it will undergo multiple refractions, and the reflected beam will eventually produce a colorful effect.
