This LM8LUU 8mm ID x 45mm length linear ball bearings is built to run on our 8mm stainless steel shafting. The internal carriage contains a series of balls that cycle through as the bearing traverses up and down the shaft it’s installed on to provide a low coefficient of friction. The seals at each end keep ingress of dust and debris to a minimum for long-service life. These LM8LUU linear bearing can be mounted with one of our 15mm bore clamping mounts. The added length of this unit, when compared to the LM8UU provides greater load capacity and more stability.
Linear Motion Bearing (also called Ball Bushing or Shaft Guiding) is a rolling friction supporting element that usually used for linear motion mechanical parts with small friction.
Coordinate with Linear Motion Shaft, recirculating balls provide unlimited stroke at low friction movement, permit temperature within 80 degree Celsius.
It is great for 3D printer, CNC, and other applications.
