Oriented strand board is a widely used multifunctional structural wood board. OSB is made of waterproof thermal curing adhesive and rectangular wood thread, arranged in horizontal layers. It is an engineered wood board with many strength and performance characteristics of plywood. The combination of OSB's wood and adhesive creates a strong, dimensionally stable panel that can resist deflection, delamination and warping; similarly, OSB panels can resist tilt and shape deformation when encountering strong winds and earthquakes. Relative to its strength, OSB panels are lightweight and easy to handle and install.
