If the front hub is bearing hub, it is generally 2 bearings, while the rear hub has three specifications of 2 bearings 3bearings or 4 bearings. In 4-bearing hub, there are only two bearings mainly used for load-bearing in the hub shell,  so their strength is basically the same as that of 2-bearing hub. The real significance of bearing hub lies in that the other two bearings mainly support the quasi-rotation of the ratchet.  The high precision of the bearings can reduce the yaw  when the base and flywheel rotate and make the speed change more accurate.
