Vulcanized resin 2402 (phenolic resin 2402), the alkyl group is in the para position of the phenolic hydroxyl group. The resin molecule ends with a para-alkyl group. At the vulcanization temperature, the molecules will not react chemically.
The resin forms a hydrogen bond with the rubber surface and has good adhesion. The tertiary carbon on the resin alkyl group turns the alkyl group into a branched structure.
Therefore, the tert-octyl phenolic resin has better compatibility with many rubbers and oils, can prolong the scorching time of the material, and improve the processing performance and operational safety.

Vulcanized resin 2402 (Phenolic resin 2402) is a thermoplastic resin formed by the reaction of tert-butyl phenol and formaldehyde, which is easily soluble in benzene and alcohol. Specializing in the production of rubber products that require high viscosity, such as tires.
Vulcanized resin 2402 (phenolic resin 2402) together with activator stannous chloride is an effective vulcanizing agent for natural rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, nitrile butadiene rubber, especially IIR.
Vulcanized resin 2402 (Phenolic resin 2402), as an anti-release agent, is an important raw material for neoprene adhesives.
Adding to lubricants, films and casting materials is also an effective anti-chloride and UV absorber.
