Properties：Dibromomethane is a colorless to light yellow liquid. Slightly soluble in water and easily soluble in Carbon Tetrachloride, Ether and Methanol. Relative density: 2.4970g/cm3; Melting point: -52℃; Boiling point: 96℃; Refractive index (20℃/D): 1.5419.
Uses：Dibromomethane is mainly used as a pesticide intermediate, it is the main raw material for the synthesis of Acaricide and Mycorazole. In medicine, it can be used as a disinfectant or sedative. Besides, it can be used as solvent, refrigerant, flame retardant and antiknock agent components.
Storage：Keep sealed and store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Stored separately from Oxidants, Aluminium, Metal powders and Edible chemicals.
