4. The body of insulating joint and straight through joint is the same, the d ifference is just the handling of shielding on-site installation, insulating joint with one side insulated and the rest shielded while staight through joint full shielded.

Joint protecting is made of insulating copper case with high-intensitive T2 copper, and the moulded high-density PE material of its external surface is used for insulation and anti-corrosion with good mechanical protection and permanent waterproof sealing performance, which ensure the joint to run safely and reliably in the long-term under harsh environment.In addition, it can equip glass fiber reinforced plastic protective box as a strengthen waterproof measure accordingly.
7. Special installer tools make the installation more convenient.
The joint has insulating joint and straight through joi nt with integral pre-fabricate structure, which is protected with insulating copper shell of high strength after installation, and then pouring waterproof insulating mastic inside the copper shell to integrate. Glass fiber reinforced plastic protective box can be added according to the requirements of the running environment, pouring waterproof insulating mastic inside to guarantee the joint running reliably and safely in the harshenvironment of waterlogging, high corrosion and so on for a long term.
Insulating joint is suitable for the connection of long cable lines, making the cable metal sheath and insulating shield disconnected electrically and in order to facilitate them grounding or protective earthing of crossover interconnection; straight through joint is suitable for the connection of short cable lines. It can be installed to run in the environment of cable duct, tunnel or direct underground and so on.
